To evaporate, water uses thermal energy: it consumes heat. This absorption of heat has the effect of lowering the temperature of the space in which this exchange takes place. CLIMEXT® Fog Generators disperse micro-droplets of water in the form of an extremely fine mist, which evaporates instantly. This lowers the air temperature by several degrees.
CLIMEXT® refreshes without wetting!
The extremely fine micro-droplets of water from a CLIMEXT® Station or Brumiventilator mix instantly with the air. What’s more, an anti-drip system is fitted to all our misters (with the exception of the CLIMEXT® Compact Mist-Maker). When the system is switched off, no residual water drops escape from the diffusion orifices.
The Tempo box, equipped with a double sequential timer, allows you to control the CLIMEXT® Fogging Station and precisely adjust the diffusion according to the space to be treated. The rate of cooling desired by the user is obtained while avoiding excess humidity.
Some applications of evaporative cooling:
Improving personal comfort is the most widespread application for evaporative cooling. It can be found in places such as bar terraces, restaurants, amusement parks, sports or play areas, public spaces, campsites, motorway stations or in areas of human activity where the arduous nature of the work is accentuated by unbearable temperatures and, at the very least, in all places where traditional air conditioning cannot, or only with great difficulty, offer a solution. Fogging and air conditioning are complementary!
In livestock areas, natural cooling using high-pressure misting improves the comfort of poultry and cattle, and has a direct impact on farm profitability.
In the agricultural sector, CLIMEXT® misting can be used in market gardens, production greenhouses or sales areas.
CLIMEXT® misting maintains both temperature and humidity levels.
In certain industrial production or conservationsectors, maintaining humidity levels is an essential factor in the finalisation of the process.
The food sector also sees many applications for CLIMEXT® High Pressure Fogging; maintaining freshness and controlled humidity levels prevent the rapid deterioration of fresh produce due to drying on fruit and vegetable shelves, fish stalls and butchers.
The activities of some farms generate polluting dust, both for people and for the environment and equipment. Thanks to the installation of CLIMEXT® High Pressure Foggers, the dust is either made heavier by the ambient humidity, or sucked up by the movement of the evaporating micro-droplets and deposited directly on the floor instead of being dispersed into the environment.
The textile industry is an example of a simple application.
Factories, quarries and concrete plants, for example, are applications which are generally more difficult to implement, but which benefit enormously from the CLIMEXT® High Pressure Fogging process.
Public works sites, and in particular nibbling or demolition machinery, can be equipped with CLIMEXT® High Pressure Foggers, thus mitigating the consequences of dust emissions.
The introduction of a specific treatment product, diluted in water upstream of the CLIMEXT® High Pressure Fogging System, will ensure optimal dispersion in the area to be treated.
One example of olfactory treatment is the addition of ‘scents’ to chemical or organic waste treatment areas.
Disinfecting’ poultry farms, for example, is a process that protects poultry from the risk of infection.
In industrial environments, the CLIMEXT® High-Pressure Misting System can be used on production lines to speed up cooling while saving water, to limit static electricity in a process, to facilitate take-off from a mould or to maintain relative humidity in a paint booth.
On their own, decorating green spaces or flush with a body of water, they are a reminder of the importance of water in our lives. Just like fountains, these new kinds of backdrops encourage well-being, calm and lightness.
