how a mister works

Misting, a natural phenomenon...

To evaporate, water uses thermal energy, i.e. it consumes heat. This absorption of calories has the immediate effect of reducing the temperature of the area in which this exchange takes place.

High-pressure misting consists of diffusing water into the air in the form of micro-droplets less than 16µm in size.

The extremely fine micro-droplets of water generated by our Misting Systemevaporate instantly into the air without wetting the skin.

... amplified by our High Pressure Mist Generators

A Misting System is considered to be a High Pressure Misting System when the pressure at the nozzle outlet exceeds 50 bar.

Our CLIMEXT High-Pressure Misting System uses a High-Pressure Unit (or high-pressure pump) to pressurise the water to 60 bars.

This pressurised water is sent directly via the3-way high-pressure solenoid valve to the distribution pipes serving all the nozzles in the installation. Our nozzles, specially designed by our R&D department, diffuse the water in spray form to create a perfect mist cone and a ‘Mist’ that refreshes without wetting.

ARMEXT

Sediment filtration is the1st essential element for any misting system. Connected directly to the mains water supply, it ensures the safety of your High Pressure Misting System by preventing particles in the water from interfering with its operation.

Pressurisation takes place just after filtration, using a high-pressure unit (or misting pump). This allows incoming water at 3 bars to be propelled into the misting circuit at 60 bars.

The water, pressurised to 60 bar, must be able to flow to the high-pressure nozzles. To achieve this, we have a wide range of fittings and tubes suitable for high-pressure misting, which can be easily connected to each other.
CLIMEXT designs guarantee a perfect seal, as well as ease of use and installation.

The Anti-Drip system prevents the appearance of drops, which then form puddles, often present when your Mister is switched off, but very disturbing.

The technology we use and offer you is based on two elements working simultaneously:

  • The Anti-Drip Solenoid Valve, whose function is to open and close the misting circuit and also to relieve the pressure in the system each time it stops.
  • CLIMEXT misting nozzles, with their anti-drip system, have been designed by us to diffuse water into the area to be misted during operation, and then to prevent the formation of drops during shutdown.

High-pressure misting is delivered using nozzles specifically designed for this purpose.

In its catalogue, CLIMEXT offers a wide choice of nozzles with different orifice diameters and materials (nickel-plated brass, stainless steel). Our desire to meet all your needs means you can find different types of nozzles for all your applications and even more creations.

We can install our misting systems on a ramp, a fan (misting fan) or on masts to meet all your requirements.

The control box controls and protects your misting system.

Like our ARMEXTs, they are designed to be fitted with a wide range of optional packs (remote control, hour counter, health watch, etc.) to improve the performance of your system and make it even more comfortable to use.
